Yann Chashanovski is a photographer, designer and architect based in New York City. His training and design practice have shaped a unique approach to composing with space and light. Yann has documented exhibitions and events at prominent New York City art institutions and galleries, including the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Spantzo Gallery,  Tiger Strikes Asteroid, The Clemente, and Flux Factory, as well as at SUNY Purchase College’s Richard & Dolly Maass Gallery (Purchase, NY), the Cleveland Institute of Art’s Reinberger Gallery (Cleveland, OH), and the CAB Foundation (Brussels, Belgium). His work has been published in leading art media outlets, including The New York Times, ArtNews, Hyperallergic, and Frieze.
